GrantiX at Blockchain for Social Impact Event
Yesterday, April 8, 2025, our team took part in an exclusive event organized by XRPL Commons, as part of Paris Blockchain Week, dedicated to Blockchain for Social Impact. We learned about the transformative potential of blockchain technologies in humanitarian aid, climate resilience, and financial inclusion.
🎤 Outstanding speakers at the event:
- Juan Ignacio Ibanez – presented the MiCA Crypto Alliance project, discussing the importance of cryptocurrency regulation in Europe and the impact of MiCA on the development of the crypto market.
- Sandra Tusin from Exponential Sciences shared a project using blockchain for social change, including environmental initiatives and sustainable development.
- Melanie Damour, Director of Strategic Initiatives at XRPL Commons, moderated a panel discussion exploring the potential of blockchain technologies in the humanitarian sector, such as Crypto for Good by Mercy Corps Ventures.
💡 What we found interesting:
- MiCA regulation and its impact on cryptocurrency markets and the European financial system.
- Philanthropic initiatives using blockchain to address global social issues.
- Innovative startups such as Agrify, Cosyal, and Ushi, which showcased how blockchain is helping to solve specific social challenges.
We learned a lot about cryptocurrency regulation and blockchain for social projects, which will allow us to apply this knowledge in the future. Particularly important was the information on how MiCA could change the rules of the game in the crypto industry.
