Shogik Bakery in Armenia is raising $1920 to expand bread production for people with diabetes.

In the village of Nor-Edessia in Armenia, the bakery Shogik operates — an example of social entrepreneurship that addresses a specific issue within its community. The project has already begun operations and helps people for whom access to suitable food products is of everyday importance.

Many people with diabetes live in Nor-Edessia. Therefore, at Shogik, they make bread that, according to the project's description, is suitable for the diet of people with such a diagnosis: without added sugar, with a low glycemic index, made from whole grain, rye, and buckwheat flour.

The bakery has already purchased some equipment and launched production. Now, it is important for the team to increase volumes to make such products available to more residents of the village and nearby settlements.

For the further development of Shogik, it is necessary to acquire an additional oven, work tables, and basic equipment. The total amount to be raised is $1920.

Such projects rarely find themselves in the spotlight, although they directly affect the quality of everyday life. Social entrepreneurship in this case works very simply and clearly: there is a specific need in the community, there is a local team, and there is a product that can help people right now.

For GrantiX, supporting such initiatives is especially important. The platform helps small social projects become more visible, share their work, and find support among people who care about seeing the real results of assistance.
