New project on GrantiX: an inclusive environment for migrant children with special needs.
Clarity School β Inclusive Educational Environment
Every child deserves a chance for adaptation, learning, and acceptance π
At the international private Clarity School (Portugal), children with developmental features β ADHD, ASD, dyslexia, and dysgraphia β study together with neurotypical children. The school helps migrant children gently adapt to a new country: learn English and Portuguese, receive support from a psychologist and a tutor, and feel like part of the class.
However, this work requires significant resources β specialists, materials, and time. Often schools and families cannot afford these costs.
The GrantiX Project
The project Inclusive Educational Environment for Migrant Children with Special Needs, hosted on GrantiX, addresses this problem. It helps children with special needs learn and develop in a comfortable and accepting environment.
Within the project, the following are provided:
- initial psychological assessment upon admission,
- development of an individual adaptation and socialization plan,
- purchase of specialized learning materials,
- individual sessions: psychological counseling, play therapy, and consultations for parents,
- regular monitoring and analysis of the childβs progress throughout the school year.
Goal on GrantiX: to provide at least 8 migrant children with individual support and help them adapt at school.
