A new project from Armenia has appeared on GrantiX: inclusive education in social entrepreneurship

A new social project from Armenia is presented on the GrantiX platform, aimed at teaching people with mental and physical disabilities how to launch their own social and small businesses. The initiative helps participants gain practical knowledge, develop entrepreneurial skills, and create opportunities for self-employment in their regions.
Currently, there are no adapted university programs for social entrepreneurship for people with disabilities in Armenia. Therefore, such educational initiatives are especially important: they help bridge the gap between the need for accessible education and the real opportunities to start a business.
The Goar Mkoyan team conducts inclusive educational programs that take into account the diverse needs of participants. Training is available in three languages, video materials are accompanied by sign language interpretation and subtitles, and participation does not require prior business experience. This makes the program more accessible for people who are just starting their journey in entrepreneurship.
The project combines online and offline formats. Participants not only learn the basics of social entrepreneurship but also receive support during the launch of their own social business. This approach helps turn education into practical results: new initiatives, jobs, and local solutions for communities.
The project is currently raising $5,400. The funds are necessary to launch new cohorts of the inclusive educational program, pay for the work of teachers and mentors, adapt educational materials, including sign language interpretation, subtitles, and accessible formats, as well as support graduates during the launch of their businesses.
For GrantiX, such projects are an important part of the social impact ecosystem. They demonstrate how education, inclusion, and social entrepreneurship can come together to help people not only receive support but also create their own opportunities for development.
