Garage Tech Academy on GrantiX: when technology helps you adapt

Digital Art Bootcamp — Creativity, Technology & Empathy
Every year, thousands of teenagers move to other countries together with their families. New language. New culture. New school. And often a feeling of isolation and a loss of confidence.
In Barcelona, where almost half of the residents are migrants, our ambassador Anastasia Tyurina, founder of Garage Tech Academy, is launching the Digital Art Bootcamp — a creative tech and educational project for teenagers from migrant families.
How it works
Over four weeks, 20 teenagers together with 5 professional mentors from the fields of AI, animation, design, and media will create projects that tell their stories and help others understand what it means to be “the new kid” in a new world:
- 🎮 digital art installations
- 🎬 short animated films and comics
- 🤖 mobile apps and AI assistants
Finale & support
In the final, participants will present their work at a public pitch and exhibition, where a jury of investors, experts, and journalists will select the best projects. The finalists will receive mentorship and support from partner companies to continue developing their ideas.
Creativity. Technology. Empathy.
