What helps when you're scared to start?

What helps when you're scared to start?

Most social entrepreneurs do not suffer from a lack of ideas. They are stopped by the fear of starting in uncertainty.

Our ambassador Anastasia Tyurina (https://www.facebook.com/AnastasyaTyurina) has repeatedly reshaped her life and work in different countries, cultures, and systems.

And her main conclusion is very simple: you don't start because you're ready. You start, and readiness comes in the process.

1) Resilience is more important than heroism.
For Nastya, social entrepreneurship is not about "pulling through on willpower," but about honesty and responsibility. A good project should be viable: if it is not economically sustainable, it will be hard to endure emotionally.

2) Conserve your energy, it's part of the strategy.
Energy is just as important as plans and hypotheses. You cannot help others if you are constantly drained — first, be a support, then scale.

3) Don't do everything alone.
Truly significant projects are not built in a vacuum. The community supports not only the project but also you, especially in moments of doubt.

The beginning of the year is a great time to remember this. If you have an idea that you've been putting off for a long time, perhaps you don't need more preparation.

Maybe you just need the first honest step. That's how impact begins 💛
